Developing Nuclear Skills

Following the UK government’s announcement at the beginning of the month about site approval for 10 new nuclear power stations, it is even more apparent how important this part of the energy sector is going to be.

Just as important is keeping up to date with the relevant legislation and developing knowledge and skills within the nuclear industry. As part of this process Eadon Consulting have been attending a number of events. These have included seminars on the new National Academy Nuclear Skills Passport and an Ansys event on simulation solutions for the nuclear energy industry where a number of different analysis techniques for the industry were discussed as well as talks on the seismic analysis of nuclear crane structures.
